Very very good and delicious breakfast and extremely polite staff!!!
Outstanding food, excellent service and pleasant view of the garden. Magnificent, marvellous location in a lovely area. Near to Bowburn Hall for Sunday Lunch as well as the city centre and an ideal location for Big Meeting being on the right side of the city.

We found the Hotel was situated very conveniently for visiting Durham City and the surrounding area's
Lack of a Lift, at my age (73) I found it quite a hike up those stairs carrying my luggage. Glass door on the bathroom not very private.

Couldn't recommend more for an overnight stay
Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, where the excellent bathroom featured a stainless steel and copper tub, and we enjoyed the convenience of free parking.
Nothing to improve upon.

The outdoor area for kids was fantastic, and the family-friendly service was commendable. The food was enjoyable, though the main lacked sufficient heat and the choice on Sundays felt a bit limited. A nice experience with some room for improvement.
